Have some fruit that’s about to turn? Don’t let it go to waste! Dehydrating fruit is an eco-friendly way to create beautiful table accents. We used the dehydrate function on our Sense Premium ovens to prepare clementine slices that add a perfect festive flair.

Recipe
To create these beautiful napkin arrangements all you need is Napkins [we suggest investing in re-usable linen ones to reduce waste], 3 oranges, string and cinnamon sticks.
Depending on the desired aesthetic required you can also use ribbon as an alternative to string.
Slice the oranges and arrange them on a baking tray. Place the tray in your Sense Premium Oven, using the dehydrate function. Let them dehydrate for 5 – 6 hours, flipping the slices halfway through.
Once the orange slices are fully dehydrated and cooled, thread a small piece of garden wire through the back of each slice. Use string to secure the orange slices and cinnamon sticks around the napkins. If desired, add a few extra cinnamon sticks for texture.
We paired our napkins with gold cutlery to add a warm festive hue.
If you invest in a good set you can re-use these every year.
We’ve also used foliage, and an array of candles of varying heights to give the table an elegant feel.
You can either handpick foliage or invest in some good quality reusable ones.
For the finishing touches why not add a couple of extra oranges throughout the centre for a pop of colour.
